I fortuitously discovered Katherine's newsletter by chance via a post by Emma at The Hyphen in the comment's section asking where people lived. Not only is The Inkwell's content brilliant, but Katherine is also a novelist, coach, and teacher. I was lucky enough to take a recent Arvon writing course with her and she's encouraging and lovely. She's incredibly talented but also a writer who is willing to share tips and tricks with everyone, generously offering her wisdom and support. A must read!
My former colleague – when I was an intern at a doctor's office in grad school – was inspired to start her own Substack. She talks about the influence of the Bible belt on her sexuality as well as being asexual and ex-evangelical. I can't wait to read her journey. Subscribe and share.
I discovered Tacita's newsletter by chance and she's a brilliant young writer. Her posts are raw, honest, and sometimes experimental. Definitely worth checking her out.
Poorna's writing is stunningly beautiful. No word is wasted. She's the kind of writer I aspire to be. She's a journalist with important insights to share and she tells her story impeccably.
Anita at The Powder Room is a beauty journalist who has written a revolutionary and important book, Ugly, for any woman who has ever felt marginalised by beauty culture. It's a must read for all upcoming generations. Her newsletter is brilliantly written, entertaining, and well-researched. I love everything about it.
Heartfelt amazing letters of love from a father to his son, to heal everyone's inner child. If you love 'How I Met Your Mother' and any emotional rom coms, this newsletter is for you, chocked full of wisdom, kindness, and words to ponder – a mindset that would make the world a better place.
