BONUS MATERIAL: THE EXCHANGE WITH THE HOT GUY FROM BRAZIL I DON’T REMEMBER
I took the time to save these messages so thought I’d share
To put a timeline to this journey, I moved to Columbus, Georgia around August/September 2011 when I hooked up with the AFG and went on dates with Hot Jewish Doctor, the Auburn Art Prof, Captain Cotillion (October), and various others. My date with Captain Cotillion was in October 2011.
I dated Captain Thor from roughly November/December 2011 to September 2012. Here’s the beginning of those posts.
Twenty days before Captain Cotillion, I messaged with this random man who lived in Brazil.
So far, I’ve written about at least fifty people, right? I’m surprised I recall the number of people I have remembered – and not that it matters but the person who grew up in the Bible Belt has to emphasise that no, I haven’t had fifty sexual partners.
Here’s that time I (apparently) had a random exchange with a random man in Brazil legitimately called ‘Bruno.’ Was he channelling his inner Sacha Baron Cohen?
This exchange took place from 5-11 October 2011.
Bruno: 84% Match and 64% Friend that must mean something! Unfortunately, you live 3,500 miles far... Really cute picture! :)
Elaine: I like your pictures too. It is unfortunate that I live here and you live there! But this is life. I'm discovering I have moved to a bad area to meet attractive, intelligent men.
Had I discovered that? In a whole month of being there? I seemed to have found quite a lot of men, to be fair.
Bruno: Lol, São Paulo is a TERRIBLE place to meet beautiful and smart women as well. I don't know what's the problem of this city, even the not so interesting ones think they deserve much more they really do. Are you living in Georgia, right? Where originally are you from? I'm Brazilian (so forgive my English mistakes), from the countryside, but moved to the big city in my state, to study. Loved your "More extroverted" and "more Compassionate" personality and both your cats.
