I’m a true-crime fan myself and enjoy documentaries on murder, like Michael. On its face, that sounds like I’m a morbid person, but the psychology of the criminal mind is fascinating. I also enjoy learning about forensic science and the legal aspect of these types of crimes. As long as he mixes it up with “normal” stuff (comedy, biographies, etc.) he should be okay!

We do mostly watch comedy so I’m not too worried. 🤔🤣 The more he watched, the more Netflix recommends, and he was intrigued. I’m all for fictional murder mysteries and thrillers but in real life you don’t get the actual motivations like you do in fiction. Like the men who murder their wife and children to move onto a mistress…why? I just don’t understand any of it. Plus, the vibe of violence against women just doesn’t sit well with me. Makes me beyond sad. But I can see how the forensic and investigatory aspects are intriguing.

***Oops my manuscript is actually 97,000 words but probably my subconscious thinks it needs to be shorter! 🤣

Thank you 🙏🏻 that means a lot. Maybe I’ll get to the place where I have 3+ manuscripts written like you, which is incredible, especially since you write mysteries which I’d love to know how to write. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
