“body image issues”

First, I’m not bored. I get sucked into your life reading these long posts. Second… body images issues affected me so bad and even at 51 I still have a horrible struggle with body dysmorphia

Ugh it sucks and it is such a waste of brain effort as my therapist says. She says, imagine what a day would be like if you didn’t think about these things…I couldn’t. So still trying to heal from it. 😔😫 I hope you will too! And you’re an amazing and funny presenter. I hope I actually can do a video someday. 🤞🏻

Also your husband is one secure in himself dude for you writing out your past. I wouldn’t care if Heather did but it’d be weird at first.

He used to read every chapter and was fine but now he found other things to do! 🤣 He dips in every now and then buuut he probably heard me speak generally about these things at some point anyway. I am very much an over sharer. 🤪 But yes, he’s very secure — I love this about him — and he knows I think he is the best and most gorgeous human to me so all good! 😅 I love his attitude to his body too. He will buy two sizes of things and nonjudgmentally go between sizes as if it does not matter to him. 😱 He just lets his body be what it is! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nice pivot from dresses to 'I' statements ;) were you seriously considering kids though?

He said we couldn’t get married if I didn’t change my mind on children so yes! 🤣 I mean I didn’t actively try and have a baby (would’ve been difficult since we didn’t have sex of course 🤪) but I had a notion I’d have a child or two one day. I mean I do particularly adore children but I equally like my life so… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great story. Hope you expand it into a book at some point as it seems chock full of experiences that many women can relate to and more details would help in understanding how you came to be where you are now. Love your writing, pics, gifs… All of it. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thank you so much! 😊 My whole Substack is the journey of how I met my current husband and explores my dating history (I think talks about 45 ish people) including the very long story of my first husband. 😅 This is just a continuation of previous chapters but thank you so much for reading and it is helpful that if someone is just coming in at this point I may need a mini recap. 🫶🏻
